@JDT030820 @VigilantFox Austin would have still been alive if he wouldn’t have put his hands on him….
English

“I don’t think the 35 year sentence is fair for a first time offender” Really? He didn’t steal bubble gum. He murdered a teen and will be eligible for parole in 17.5 years. He’ll be in his 30s when he gets out and Austin doesn’t get that chance. He’s dead. This ain’t justice. At a minimum, he should be behind bars for life.

STEPHEN A. SMITH: “[Karmelo Anthony’s] life has been essentially destroyed, but he’s still alive, and Austin Metcalf is not.”
“I don’t think the 35-year sentence for a first-time offender… is fair.”
“But in the same breath, a kid was k*lled, and all that happened prior to that was a shove. And because of that, he was killed. And there’s no getting around that.”
English

@VigilantFox Come on Stephen, “It’s only his first murder” is not a softening addendum

Laverne Cox tells @Guardian she’s lost 90% of her income due to Donald Trump’s DEI rollbacks:
“The past year or two, I’ve had to dip into savings and my retirement fund. So, the blessing is that I finally have the privilege to have a retirement fund to dip into, but you don’t really want to do that. If it’s affecting me, then it’s definitely affecting other people.”

@venuuswrld @PopCrave The cord was laying on the ground in plain sight we can’t just blame them for that….
English

The 21-year-old woman who died after bungee jump staff threw her from a bridge without attaching her bungee cord was alive for a short time after the fall.
An off-duty nurse who rushed to help said Maria Eduarda was still conscious when she arrived and even spoke with her, reassuring the young woman that she was going to be OK.

English

@h3reallnight @PopCrave She did, in the video you can see the cord just casually laying on the ground.
English

@Plottwist_26 @PopCrave You can see the cord just sitting there to… they all were amateurs!
English

@TerriblePic @PopCrave You can just see the cord sitting there…. They all were just so careless.
English

@PopCrave The woman who was thrown off a 130-foot bridge without a cord in Brazil was still alive when an off-duty nurse got to her on the ground.
English

@BallJuggler @PurinExodia @ZinhleM_3 @PopCrave Yup because I could wake them up!!!! It’s my life I’m not sitting in the back hoping they wake up???? Hellooo!!!!
English

@Glockomaopps @PurinExodia @ZinhleM_3 @PopCrave "Your uber driver fell asleep and drove off a bridge? It's your fault, you should have been making sure he was awake!"
English

@tssoapdispencer @PurinExodia @ZinhleM_3 @PopCrave The cord was laying on the ground she didn’t care to ask if she was attached or not just like they forget they never put it on her not the same.
English

@Glockomaopps @PurinExodia @ZinhleM_3 @PopCrave this is like blaming a random mother and baby on a flight for the pilot falling asleep and crashing the plane
English

@thewolflnme @cockerspaniel04 @PurinExodia @ZinhleM_3 @PopCrave If she didn’t notice ether then how is it murder? You can see the cord just laying on the ground it was a stupid accident!
English

@Glockomaopps @cockerspaniel04 @PurinExodia @ZinhleM_3 @PopCrave ??!?!! what does her noticing have to do with it being murder
English

@duhmmys @ZinhleM_3 @PopCrave She also could have made sure she was hook up right but did she???? Like I said this was a ACCIDENT not a MURDER!
