Yeah man I hate that I’m getting put in a position to talk down on Vladar (in a way) after having the season he had. The sole reason we got to where we did. But, really? Handing a 5-year deal to a goalie that had a single good year? Hand him a 1-2 year deal and see if he can replicate it. This is so Flyers.

I have my issues with Vegas. (Nothing to do w/Torts, I enjoyed covering him actually.) But Anaheim is a team that arrived a couple years ahead of schedule because they hired an (undeniably great) coach who should not be in the NHL based on past actions. Want them eliminated ASAP.

Briere needs a big sunner to get this thing going forward. No guarantee they make playoffs next year. The boys were running on fumes to get in. Battled like warriors . GM needs to help them out with getting better players to fill some huge holes. Go Flyers

If Briere lets Michkov go 2 years after losing Cutter Gauthier I’m completely out on this front office and calling whatever this is a failure cause it surely wasn’t a true rebuild. Fire them all if that’s the case because they can’t keep young talent that they drafted themselves.

@andystrickland Keep convincing yourselves. You picked the wrong year to have Bettman cheat on the lottery. McKenna might be very good, but hardly generational. He might not even start this year in TO.

If Gavin McKenna would’ve stayed in junior and played in the #WHL this season, he would’ve had 140 points and the hype surrounding him would have been comparable to Connor Bedard. He had 51 pts in 35 games as a 17/18 year old playing in a way more competitive league. I don’t think people understand how good #NCAA hockey is.
