While exploring Warsaw, you might notice this symbol. 🇵🇱 What does it mean? On March 20, 1942, Polish scouts painted it on the city’s walls for the first time. It became a powerful sign of resistance, courage and hope during WWII. Today, it remains a symbol of Warsaw’s resilience 🇵🇱 📍Kopiec Powstania Warszawskiego

Did you know about this unique sculpture in Warsaw? The Stained-Glass Willow in Żoliborz, created by artist Jan Sajdak, was inspired by the tree that once grew in this very spot. The sculpture is made of hundreds of intertwined branches with colorful stained-glass elements shining between them. A hidden gem worth discovering in Warsaw ✨ #DiscoverWarsaw

Happy International Women’s Day from Warsaw 🌷 Today we celebrate inspiring women, like Maria Skłodowska-Curie, born in Warsaw and the only person to win two Nobel Prizes in two different sciences. Her legacy continues to inspire generations around the world. Wishing all women a wonderful day full of inspiration and strength. 💛 #DiscoverWarsaw Ph: Alena Dziakau, City of Warsaw

Did you know Warsaw has its own daily bugle call? 🎺 Every day at 11:15, a trumpeter plays the Warsaw bugle call from the Clock Tower of the Royal Castle in the Old Town. The time is symbolic: the castle clock stopped at 11:15 during the bombing of Warsaw on September 17, 1939. Today, this short melody is played three times, symbolizing God, Honour, Homeland. 📍 If you’re in Warsaw around 11:15, pause for a moment and listen. #DiscoverWarsaw
