"Safe" usually just means "we haven't studied it long enough to find the bodies yet." It took 50 years to turn the tide on cigarettes. We are in year 10 of vaping. The data is catching up. And it’s ugly. If you inhale it, your body has to detox it. They replaced the combustion (smoke) with vaporization of heavy metals and lipid solvents. The lungs are designed for air. Not heated glycol and nickel particles. We traded lung cancer for popcorn lung and severe inflammatory fibrosis. Different delivery, same destruction. It’s not just the lungs. It’s the endocrine system. Many vape flavorings are potent endocrine disruptors. We are seeing tanked testosterone and hormonal chaos in young men and women who vape.
