The Tourism and Cultural Heritage component of the Go Blue Project, implemented by Camões, I.P. and funded by the European Union, in partnership with the Jumuiya ya Kaunti za Pwani (JKP) Secretariat, held its final event on 20 and 21 November in Kilifi, Kenya.

It brought together representatives from the six JKP counties, partners and beneficiaries, highlighting the achievements reached through the implementation of the Blueprint strategy in the region, as well as showcasing and recognising the supported projects.

The Tourism and Cultural Heritage component of the Go Blue Project is financed by the European Union and co-financed and managed by Camões, I.P., with the overall objective of contributing to strengthened inclusive and sustainable blue economy value chains in Kenya’s JKP counties

Today in Lamu, the @EUinKenya-supported GoBlue Project spotlighted two flagship initiatives: The revitalized King Fahd Park Advances in the mangrove Blue Carbon programme These initiatives demonstrate how thriving cities and healthy ecosystems can drive Kenya’s #BlueEconomy.
