Thank you to Michigan fans for the congratulations and well wishes. There will no doubt be additional departures, both players and staff, heading your way and other places, and I sincerely wish them all the best. I want nothing but success for our guys, and I am genuinely happy they will have the opportunity to earn significant coaching salaries and NIL compensation, and compete in the best league in the country under an amazing Head Coach. I believe in people pursuing the best opportunity and the best compensation available to them. That is what this country is built on, opportunity. As someone who owns and operates an NIL platform, I can say Michigan has the resources to provide life-changing opportunities for players and their families. There will always be boobirds talking out of both sides of their mouths and saying ugly things, despite the fact that many of them would leave their own job in a heartbeat if a better offer and more money were put in front of them. Utah will be just fine because I have the utmost confidence in Morgan Scalley and it's his turn to lead Utah to the next frontier. And those who are leaving us are doing so at a high watermark of an 11-2 season with a bowl win. They achieved far more than anyone could've imagined a year ago when we were sitting at 5-7 at home. For that, I am infinitely grateful and hope they bring the same success to their new team and destination. Thank you to all of them. Finally, for the family who are here, loyal, true, and a Utah Man, LET'S GO! Next man up! People come and go, but Utah Football will always be here. Death. Taxes. Utah Football! Happy New Year.
