Big picture...Trump vs. Massie isn't one of the things I am going to stress about beyond the moment.
I will however continue to stress about the country that we're handing off to our kids.
And what seemed so promising a year ago now feels like a different world altogether.
Perhaps a year from now will be sunshine and rainbows but at the moment, that's not the sense I'm getting.

I live in Kentucky. I’ve voted in every single election as far back as I can remember. This time, I sat it out. I don’t trust any of them anymore. They all have so many promises with little follow through. It seems each one is just in it for themselves and what they can get out of their position. Both sides. If I, a conservative Christian who homeschooled her children while instilling in them the history of our country and how important it is that we take voting seriously, have decided to throw in the towel, where does that leave us? I know I’m not the only one who feels this way.
