@80sBankStill Remember watching some movie and it randomly came to mind so i looked it up. It had to do with the Titanic sinking so they coded stations internationally, later on the federal gov did the whole Mississippi thing.

@80sBankStill Haha i have no idea as to why but i do know why radio stations start with W or K. All the radio stations west of the Mississippi got the letter K and everything East got the W tho there are exceptions to established stations that were established before some fed agreement.

It went into the low 30s but we didn’t have 30 channels. Channels 15-20 (21 too i think) didn’t have any signal so we programmed the tv to skip those.
