@HeathLyons The issue is - no one wants to play for us.. it’s been shown the last 2-3 years You can’t say spend that money on bringing in some help when no one wants to play for us. And it will only get worse if our best player leaves. We’re not a destination club and havnt been for a while

I love Zach and happy he is playing still with us.. But you cant go offering him 1mill+ a season when he is 31 next year. This is the very reason Essendon is stuck in rebuild. They need to spend some of that money to bring him in some help. If he leaves, then its done, seeya.

@JustinHawks @CalTwomey Don’t hate to be a hater. We have some of the biggest marquee games of the year outside of finals. Anzac, Dreamtime, kings birthday eve. World class facilities, a huge supporter base Our onfield performance is the major downside clearly and a deterrence for players sure.

I’ve never held Merrett in the lofty heights he’s regarded in. Games like this expose his deficiencies. He’s a very good player that stands out in a poor team. Best players in average teams are sometimes commensurately not as good in great teams.

And it’s appropriate that they were fined. But there are seven other teams also tanking in their own ways.

@KevinOConnor The NBA gets to choose at what point in the game a player comes in and out of the game? We'd better not see star players sat in the 4th quarter when their team is up 20+ anymore. The NBA just went down a slippery slope and the Jazz and Pacers should both sue.

I think there’s a 50/50 chance Giannis is a Warrior by Thursdays deadline Which is insane to think about but we really might get there
