Iran in India
Iran in India@Iran_in_India·
You started the war, but Iran will set the conditions for its end. Iran's 10-point conditions that the US has accepted as "workable": The US is fundamentally committed to: 🔹 Non-aggression 🔹 Continuation of Iran's control over the Strait of Hormuz 🔹 Acceptance of enrichment 🔹 Lifting all primary sanctions 🔹 Lifting all secondary sanctions 🔹 Termination of all UN Security Council resolutions 🔹 Termination of all IAEA Board of Governors resolutions 🔹 Payment of compensation to Iran 🔹 Withdrawal of US combat forces from the region 🔹 Cessation of war on all fronts, including against the heroic Islamic Resistance of Lebanon.

I played with Gemini 3 yesterday via early access. Few thoughts - First I usually urge caution with public benchmarks because imo they can be quite possible to game. It comes down to discipline and self-restraint of the team (who is meanwhile strongly incentivized otherwise) to not overfit test sets via elaborate gymnastics over test-set adjacent data in the document embedding space. Realistically, because everyone else is doing it, the pressure to do so is high. Go talk to the model. Talk to the other models (Ride the LLM Cycle - use a different LLM every day). I had a positive early impression yesterday across personality, writing, vibe coding, humor, etc., very solid daily driver potential, clearly a tier 1 LLM, congrats to the team! Over the next few days/weeks, I am most curious and on a lookout for an ensemble over private evals, which a lot of people/orgs now seem to build for themselves and occasionally report on here.

💡 In this sentence, the song is not the doer, it’s the receiver of the action. 🤨 Someone [ unknown ] wrote it — the song received the action. 😀 That’s why we use the passive voice. ✅ The song was written in 1975. Active: Someone [ doer ] wrote the song in 1975. Passive: The song [ receiver ] was written in 1975. 🤔 When to use [ is written ] Use is written when talking about something that exists that way now, not a past event. 🟠 The rule is written in the manual. 🟡 The story is written in simple English. Here, the focus isn’t on who wrote it or when, but on how it currently appears. 💡 In short: wrote → past action [ doer ]. was written → past action [ receiver ]. is written → present state [ how it exists ].

Maxwell's Demon : A simple thought experiment that gave birth to "Information Theory" 1⃣ Imagine James Clerk Maxwell, in the late 19th century, pondering the Second Law of Thermodynamics. He hypothesized a thought experiment to seemingly violate it.

Your "efficient" companies run on $5B in subsidies, fire people via email at 2am, and have zero accountability. They're "fast" because they can ghost poor customers, fire sick workers & serve only profitable markets. You don't hate monopolies, Elon. You hate ones you don't own
Elon Musk@elonmusk

The reason government programs are so inefficient is that, unlike a commercial company, the feedback loop for improvement is broken, because they have a state-mandated monopoly and can’t go out of business if customers are unhappy. No matter how bad the service is at your DMV (sorry to pick on DMVs), you still have to use your DMV, because it’s a monopoly.

Edutainment is worse than textbooks. The concept itself remains unchanged — still text, only animated, narrated, dramatized. The learner remembers the host’s energy, not the idea’s structure. The story sticks; the concept doesn’t.

Nobody grew up with intentions of being a cleaner, cashier or security guard. We all had big dreams but life happened. Respect other people’s jobs.

A guy just used @AnthropicAI Claude to turn a $195,000 hospital bill into $33,000. Not with a lawyer. Not with a hospital admin insider. With a $20/month Claude Plus subscription. He uploaded the itemized bill. Claude spotted duplicate procedure codes, illegal “double billing,” and charges that Medicare rules explicitly forbid. Then it helped him write a letter citing every violation. The hospital dropped their demand by 83%. This isn’t just a feel-good story. It’s a preview of what AI will really do next: flatten systems built on opacity. Hospitals, insurance companies, legal firms—all rely on asymmetry. They win because you don’t have access to the same data, code books, or language. Claude gave one person the same leverage as a compliance department. That’s a revolution. We thought AI would replace jobs. Turns out, it’s replacing excuses.

@prena_ It's all the hard work of Aakash and your efforts to make sure he gets admitted to IIITD. I was just a medium and tried my best to support throughout. He has also published a research paper with me in ACM Multimedia, a top-tier international conference held in Dublin, Ireland.

@justinskycak Curiosity is the essential first phase for discovering what's worth mastering. The myth isn't that it matters—it's that it's sufficient. Most people stay in exploration mode forever, never transitioning to deliberate practice.

One of the most harmful myths in education is that ability is something to be “unlocked” by curiosity and interest (which seems easy), not something “built” by deliberate practice (which seems hard). It’s so funny when you imagine what this would sound like coming from an athletic trainer: “You want to get really good at basketball? Forget about practice drills – you were born to ball; all you need to do to unlock your inner baller is come in with the right attitude and play some pick-up ball at the park.”

Simple experiment: Set a 20-minute timer next time you open social media. When it goes off, close the app. No exceptions. See what happens. Your prefrontal cortex will thank you.

The most interesting part? Your brain activity stays elevated even after you close the app. You're physically off the platform but mentally still there—ruminating, processing, replaying. Sound familiar?

New study tracked your brain during social media use. After 20 minutes: prefrontal cortex activity drops 22% That's your decision-making, impulse control, long-term thinking—all degraded. And your brain stays activated even after you close the app. We're the experiment.
