@Pflax1 I love those kind of troubleshooting stories! In family biking we get a lot of, “I thought my fender was dragging on my tire but it turned out that my infant was snoring.”

It was the lid to a water bottle! I guess it had been super loose the whole ride—loose enough to just fall off over a bump. When I screwed it back on and continued riding, the sound disappeared. The whoosh was from a nearly-off lid. First time I ever heard that! Case closed!

Yesterday on my commute to work, my bike started emitting this sound that I could not figure out. A very brief story.
