Mountain West Basketball transfer portal rankings and Top 20 incoming transfers from @EvanMiya projection data. Does not include incoming freshmen or first year foreign players. UNM has 3 of the top 5 transfers (Mayes, TVF, Petraitis) GCU has 6 of the top 20 transfers.
Oklahoma, UCLA and Oregon State will be on Randy Bennett’s first non-conference hoops schedule. The team will also play in Acrisure Series in Palm Spring in the South Carolina half of the bracket. Still about six non-conference games left to be scheduled.
IMPORTANT UPDATE: Menifield is not committed to GCU, this is not happening. Again, Menifield will not play at GCU this upcoming season and is not committed/signed.
Keyon Menifield Jr. who played 2 games in the NBA G League in 2024-25 was granted collegiate eligibility for this upcoming season. He will be playing at Grand Canyon University. Menifield Jr. graduated from Beecher and played 2 years of college at Arkansas and Washington.
