Another milestone for our group! 🎉 @MagdalenaKozli has just printed her dissertation thesis—congratulations on this tremendous achievement. Now only a “minor” step remains: defending her Ph.D. at the end of the month, on April 27, 2026. We’re keeping our fingers crossed!

We’re proud to announce that the Czech Science Foundation has decided to support our research by approving our international grant “Photoactive, supramolecular, and biocompatible materials suitable for antimicrobial photodynamic therapy,” with our colleagues from Toruń, Poland🥳

During these cold winter days, it is nice to look back on the summer, when all 3 of our doctoral students participated in the ESP 2025 Congress in Bari (IT), with their poster presentations on PDT, PCI and PDI. We thank @EurSocPhotobiol for the opportunity to present our work!

It has been almost two months since we participated in a great conference in Toruń (Poland). While the leader of our group gave a plenary lecture, PhD student @MagdalenaKozli presented her research in a poster presentation, for which she won second place! Congratulations!

Something to gain strength for tomorrow’s conference in Toruń

Our group leader was invited as a plenary speaker at the conference in Toruń. He will present our latest finds in PDT, especially from antimicrobial PDT project funded by @agentura_azvcr . Magdaléna Kozlíková will present a poster on 2D and 3D tumor models for PDT.

A wonderful and inspiring ICPP-13 conference at @NiagaraFallsUSA is almost over. We are looking forward to the next one in Kyoto, 2026. @SPP_Office #Science
