🚨 M7 Road Safety Enforcement in Action 🚨 The eThekwini Transport Authority, with Metro Police, Fire Department, KwaZulu-Natal Department of Transport, SAPS and AARTO, conducted a targeted enforcement operation along the M7. The initiative focused on raising awareness, improving compliance, and assessing conditions on this key freight route to Durban Harbour. As part of the eThekwini Municipality Road Safety Plan (2022–2026), the operation targeted freight vehicles due to crashes linked to speeding, overloading, and unroadworthy conditions. Ongoing enforcement will continue to promote safer roads for all. #RoadSafety #Asiphephe #ArriveAlive #DriveWithFocus #StaySafe #GODurban

Traffic signal vandalism and theft continue to disrupt traffic flow and compromise road safety. To address this, we are installing protective spikes on traffic signal heads to help prevent tampering and vandalism. These measures are aimed at keeping our intersections operational, improving safety, and reducing unnecessary delays for motorists and pedestrians. If you notice: - Traffic signals not working - Damaged or tampered signal heads - Suspicious activity at intersections Please report it immediately to help us respond swiftly. Call: 087 121 9446 WhatsApp: 087 121 9446 Email: info@godurban.co.za Together, we can protect our infrastructure and keep our roads safe. #RoadSafety #ProtectPublicInfrastructure #ReportVandalism
