There are 2 subsections of the statute that are in conflict—by granting platforms complete legal immunity for the content that their users post, it also reduces the incentive to proactively remove content causing direct harm to society. Section 230 must evolve.

Socially harmful content has become the status quo of tech platforms. It benefits platform shareholders acting purely out of economic self-interest. The result is a deterioration of public trust & reduces the tech platform’s benefit to society as a whole.

Along with managing their own survival, people are managing complex emotions like fear & guilt. Some are replaying events and questioning being in the "wrong place at the wrong time," not "doing enough. Any type of moral support & sense of connection you can provide is valuable.
