Well, that was fun. Just what the doctor ordered. Superb first half, would have been nice to have added to that lead. Had a couple of chances but Tuesday night’s game was clearly looming large as well. Two home games, two wins. Four goals scored, none conceded. Let’s see what happens on Monday night. Gyokeres excellent, Lewis-Shelly a breath of fresh air in midfield. Saka superb in that first half.

I can forgive everything else if Gyokeres is scoring like this. This is what we’ve been waiting for. Huge, huge day for him & maybe a lesson for the likes of me who’ve found him difficult to understand.

@EduardoHagn Saka was abysmal, you can call him out without hating on him. He takes too long with the ball, decision making in front of the goal of recent is that of a league 2 defender.

Saka, apart from the misses, has been excellent.

It hurts, a lot. PTSD from previous seasons isn’t helping. There’s a nervousness and a sense of desperation on the pitch, in the dugout and in the stands. Do Arsenal as a club have what it takes to get over the line? A seven point lead could have been eleven, but is now four. Arsenal need someone to step up and get them out of this hole. The only player I fear capable of that is Bukayo Saka, but the boy can’t do it on his own. Where do we go from here?
