Goat Trading

This is a very difficult post to make but it’s come time to finalize the shutdown of Goat Trading. After over 3 years of tireless work on new products to make crypto trading safer and more beneficial, we’re not able to continue working on Goat.

We put everything we had into this company and, although it didn’t work out, it was worth the effort and we hope that some of the ideas we created will be brought back to life in the future. - Robert Forster

We thank everyone who’s been here with us throughout it all. There have been so many ups and downs and it’s been a rough journey trying to make it work…to say the least.

5% of the $EASE supply will be dedicated to $GOAT holders who have stuck with us through it all. A swap contract will be created before $EASE pools are opened again.

The Ease token ($EASE) is not currently being traded but we aim to get it back onto markets soon, and we will be enabling a swap from $GOAT to a portion of $EASE.

Because of new product developments with Ease, direct revenue-generation through creating a DeFi ecosystem around @NexusMutual staking, and market sentiment away from Goat’s focus, we will be focusing our efforts back on Ease.

There comes a time where we need to move on, and that time is now. We greatly appreciate the community that’s stood by us all this time and invested in our success and we still hope to be able to reward them.

We tried everything we could to get these novel ideas to catch on and bring value to the industry and our community, but none of them truly did.

I’m very proud of everything we’ve accomplished in this time frame. We brought many new ideas to life that no one had seen or heard of before and dedicated it all to making the industry a better place.

We did all of this on less than a shoestring budget. We gave up paychecks for years and funded the majority of development and marketing personally. We probably took on more risk than we should have, but we believed in the mission throughout.

It encouraged community rather than pure profit focus. Something that crypto, in my opinion, still desperately needs.

With the advent of vibe coding and AI-assisted programming many MVPs now need very little start-up capital to be built, and Muse aimed to bring those products to life. Again, this is a product that we still believe has potential with the right marketing and the right markets.

We made new types of markets entirely with Muse Markets where ideas rather than companies are traded and encouraged to be built. Buying a token was no longer just a bet but a signal that people wanted a specific idea made.

We built new ways for markets to function, such as a method with less risk than ever before when investing in crypto with our “Only Up” market mechanics. Only Up got rid of the PvP in early stage start-ups and enabled companies to focus on the product rather than the token.

Hopefully someday we can work on bringing this to life again. Tokens and equities should be more than just a way to gamble.

We still fully believe in a future where tokens and stocks are more modular with more functionality to control how and why trading occurs at different points in a company’s lifespan.

With Dojo we created new ways for tokens to function to build a world where DeFi didn’t just enable different ways to trade assets but different ways for assets to function at their core.

We continued to build. We built Dojo, a more advanced but fun-focused platform for people to trade.

We created that initial dex (InedibleX) that focused on just a few safety features, then we kept building. Goat Trading–our bootstrapping liquidity protocol–came after that and completely got rid of the possibility of rug pulls.

The problem was that it launched right after another dex with the same purpose that had unknowingly been in development in parallel: Pump Fun.

We saw the industry getting rugpulled left and right, and the users crying out for some extra amount of safety, so we decided to create a dex where this was no longer possible.
