We need to talk about Abdukodir Khusanov… had a lot of doubters after his first few games for Man City but yesterday’s cup final proved exactly why he’s gonna be a huge part of City’s backline for years to come. 😮‍💨 No Ruben Dias, no Marc Guehi and no Josko Gvardiol had some people worrying about City’s defence but Khusanov put in a class performance to keep a clean sheet against the team at the top of the Premier League. ❌ Crazy to see how he dealt with Gyokeres and Havertz too… both such different players. I honestly think Khusanov has everything a centreback needs to go to the very top. It’s not just this game either, Khusanov has been showing what he can do for a while now… 😮‍💨🇺🇿
