The Goathouse Refuge

Pretty Camille is a shy, almost two-year-old girl who would love a home with patience. She is not as timid as she once was and with the right person, we know she would blossom! She is currently at Siglinda's house, so just let a volunteer know you would like to meet her!

Dalia was the young Mama kitty of Julio and Jenny. Dalia's mothering duties are long over and she is ready to find a forever home of her own. She is a little shy and needs a patient family to build that trust with her. Approx. DOB: 3/20/21

This handsome guy is Buck. He is such a sweet and friendly guy who would love to have his own family. We don't know how old he is, but we think he might be around 10 or so. Please come meet Buck and see if you could be his person.

Kit came to the Goathouse from Onslow County Shelter. She is a mom to 4 sweet babies and looks forward to having a home of her own. She is very shy, but with the right person, she may come around! Approx. DOB: 12/29/2023

Queso is shy but has learned to trust people since being at the refuge. He needs a patient person and a quiet home to have time to warm up to you. Queso is FIV+ and with proper veterinary care, FIV cats can live normal lives for prolonged periods of time. DOB: 05/01/2021

Coral 2 and Corine were abandoned at the Refuge. They were most likely feral and are still skittish. Hopefully with time and effort, they will learn to trust humans, so they can have a home of their own. They need to stay together as they are bonded. DOB:10/01/2020

Amana was found as a pregnant stray and brought to the refuge in July of 2017. She is shy but will follow folks with treats and politely meow for some. She wants to be friendly and will need a patient family to help her come out of her shell. DOB: 07/01/2016

Sweet, shy April came to the Goathouse in the spring of 2018 along with her litter of kittens. She doesn't seek out attention, but with her calm and gentle personality, she'd be a purrfect match for anyone seeking a quiet furry companion to join their family. DOB: 3/1/2017

Cupid 2 is a lovely, medium-haired girl with the sweetest face! She is bonded to Love, and they need to be adopted together. They are both in our adoption building, so just let a volunteer know that you want to meet them! They are both almost 2 years old.

Maggie is a pretty little kitty who came from a high kill shelter with her 6 baby kittens and another kitten who she adopted as her own. She is a sweet and friendly kitty and she will make a wonderful companion to some lucky family! Approx. DOB: 06/4/2018

Cooky was dumped at the refuge in 2022 after likely having lived on his own without knowing kindness from people. He’s still working to overcome his fearfulness, but he’s making big strides. He is curious and will play with wand toys, followed by a treat. DOB:. 10/1/2020
