Sunday space updates...
With just over 21 SOL in prizes so far, the next stage of that progression is the V2 model of the Slotto platform.
We've obviously taken feedback over the course of the last four months from users, founders and from playing around with it ourselves. We've taken this on board and we're trying to implement the next level, including some new features, a funky fresh looking new UI, and just kind of a better user experience and kind of highlighting a little bit more on each of the featured projects, what they have to offer, where they're going and how long they've been around. And there's kind of a few upgrades and improvements that we've made....
AUTOMATED WINNINGS
The winner no longer needs to claim. When the draw comes to an end, when the countdown timer on the homepage reaches zero days, zero hours, zero minutes and zero seconds, it's an automated process now. So it closes ticket sales, it draws a winner, and it automatically sends the SOL to the winning wallet.
JACKPOT SEEDING
To make sure that that risk of founders losing money by seeding the jackpots isn't there anymore we will be evolving this into a newer updated model. It's based upon the current model where we return founders their SPL tokens to recoup their seed. Under the new model the initial seed for the jackpots will be done by ourselves (Slotto). The founders of those specific projects involved will then have the opportunity to buy their tokens back at a discounted price after the draw. What that does is means that there's no longer a risk factor involved for founders seeding the jackpot because it's not reliant now on a particular project's ticket allocation selling out. How we fund the five SOL each month is by enabling a lot of projects, giving them a small ticket allocation and at the end of the month, we then pull all of the tokens that we've received across all of the projects.
DISCORD & X
You can still link your Discord and connect your X, but now and you can connect numerous wallets to the same profile, which you couldn't do on the old system. But you can only like a project once from the same profile, from the same login. So that should get rid of the issue of people creating multiple wallets to give a project multiple likes from the same person.
CONTACT FORMS
There is now a contact section, there's information about our weekly space there, and there's a form to contact us so projects can apply directly on the platform to get a listing on the site, to enable their token on the site, and lastly, to apply for a guest spot on our Sunday spaces.
LIQUID & NON LIQUID TOKENS
We can now give allocations to liquid tokens and non-liquid tokens. The allocations for projects with non-liquid tokens will be a lot smaller than for those with liquid tokens, because obviously we can't we can't gain revenue from those non-liquid tokens at the end of the month. But we'll come up with some way of working with those founders that we can utilize those tokens for something. This will be completely dependent on the specific project involved.
AUTOMATED POSTS TO X
When people buy tickets, there was already an option to share so that you can just share with a post your ticket purchases. We are going to be kind of growing that function a little bit more in terms of automated posts. That will be an automated tweet when we create draws and also when the draw ends and the prizes are paid out and that will have the transaction link as well so thatanyone can see that this is massively transparent. They can see that the funds have been exchanged and sent out so everything will maintain its kind of fully on-chain status. When we select a project to be featured as featured project of the week, that again will send an automated post to our X account to highlight the featured project with the link to their page on Slotto.
WHEN?
DevNet testing and draws on V2 site are underway, with a view to rolling out the V2 model on Sunday the 31st May 2026.
