@The_RyanWallace I get that. Makes the situation even more strange. There’s never been clarity about his injury and Klieman seems a little frustrated whenever he talks about it . Doesn’t make a whole lot of sense.

Edwards has played 19.8% of K-State's offensive snaps this season, and 58% of his overall snaps came in one game. The idea that opponents are still dedicating inordinate amounts of time prepping for the possibility of his return seems lofty. That tactic is basically on ice.

@The_RyanWallace @Riley_Gates Klieman isn’t saying anything because he knows Dylan is done for the year. He doesn’t want to tip his hand to the opposing coaches each week. Dylan is as good as gone. Jackson has stepped up and I’m thinking a big game for him on Saturday.

Media has a job to do. Questions are going to be asked until a satisfactory answer is provided. I get that. My bigger gripe is that more clarity or a harder stop could've (and arguably should've) been given by now that might have benefited or at least alleviated things on all parties. Why that hasn't happened is bewildering.

Here's hoping this storyline gets put to rest sooner than later. Maybe there's reasoning and logic behind it all, but until that's known it's simply become a situation that -- at this point in the season -- shouldn't be so prominent and loud. If and when he plays again, obviously that'll be outstanding because of the tremendous gifts Dylan brings. I look forward to what that boost will mean for Dylan as much as anything. Until that time though, can we not embrace and focus on the developments of Joe Jackson, DeVon Rice and others in that room who are regular, active participants? The way those guys have just sort of been cast aside in favor of this secrecy saga has been really unfortunate.
