I've been trying to get in contact with a developer who revoked my access to the addon I PAID FOR, replaced it with a new version, and requires you find proof of purchase for an addon that technically no longer exists. the marketplaces couldn't care less. it's unreal

nobody talks about how absolutely rife with scams the blender addon scene is. just endless addons with little/no support, barely do what they say, devs who will steal it out from under you and make it your problem to contact them to get access to updates. drives me nuts
