पश्चिम बंगाल के CM शुभेंदु अधिकारी ने घोषणा की है कि CAA को राज्य में पूरी तरह से लागू किया जा रहा है. उन्होंने कहा कि बांग्लादेशी घुसपैठियों को पकड़ने के बाद उन्हें BSF को सौंप दिया जाएगा. BSF ऐसे घुसपैठियों को डिपोर्ट करेगी. CM ने कहा कि पिछली सरकार ने CAA का विरोध किया था. हमने आज (बुधवार, 20 मई) से इस कानून को लागू कर दिया है. CAA के अनुसार 6 समुदायों या धर्मों के लोगों को नागरिकता मिलेगी. जो लोग इसके दायरे में नहीं आएंगे उन्हें राज्य की पुलिस द्वारा गिरफ्तार किया जाएगा. उन्हें BSF के हवाले कर दिया जाएगा. BSF उन्हें वापस भेजने की व्यवस्था करेगी.  नागरिकता कानून के तहत आने वाले समुदायों में हिंदू, सिख, बौद्ध, जैन, पारसी और ईसाई शामिल हैं। मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि जो लोग इस कानून के तहत नहीं आते उन्हें घुसपैठिया माना जाएगा. वीडियो : IANS
