@ClearTradeoffs Tell him "you're built for this", Win Lose or Draw is just simply a result. It is not who you truly are.
English

phil galfond once said the best thing poker teaches you is how to not be results-oriented. the worst thing is the same thing, because everyone else is and it’s very annoying.
i have a 9 year old son. try explaining to him that the outcome doesn’t matter when his whole world is basically just who won and who lost.
i spent 15 years trying to separate decision quality from results. now i’m the weird dad explaining why losing the right way is better than winning the wrong way.
he’s not buying it.
honestly neither is most of the world lol

@GodMode248 Mine recently gifted me 2 poker books, one on the mental aspect and another on fundamental mathematics.
She said so I can refresh both sides... she's a 28th day born as well...

8 is money, but no random money. It's controlled systems that compound.
Hence why it's the number of business, it runs without you and compounds in your sleep.
5 is random money, opportunity in chaos, intuitive and quick.
8 builds something once, then scales it.
8 repeats what works.
5 experiments.
But honestly, most 8s get stuck building and never expand.
And most 5s execute to quick to build anything real.
But they do have one thing in common.
They’re always looking for opportunity in some way, shape or form.
English

@vishnukarthick6 @17seb11 Im a life path 8 born on the 5th. First time seeing someone with my exact numbers.
English

@17seb11 100% correct im 8 life path born on 5th i can relate very well 🙏🏻
English

@manly_mentor Men should take on women's strategy.
They find the slimest, dirty, scandless, low value men they can find.
That way they don't have to improve shit.
It's the same strategy people use when they get out of jail.
Anybody will do.
English

@GodMode248 Mine just tells me I’m a psycho and that’s why I’m so good at poker.
As if that’s an insult and not a compliment 😂
English

@yadijavadi @ken_trails You can be short stack, open and nobody will 3bet you.
Easy money playing lots of hands.
English

@ken_trails @GodMode248 Screw tag in the lowest games...
We shouldnt be trying to give our bluffs weight. These villains are folding way fewer hands than GTO. We dont want to encourage them to fold more!! We want them calling even more if pos.
Extreme lag is the way. Need a roll though!
English

@HighVibes12 I play the same range a tight player uses....but I'm aggressive with them.
English

@GodMode248 I see some super tight bad regs winning at 50 and 100nl on USA sites, but they’re leaving a lot on the table for sure. (Soft games to say the least)
English

This is false.
Aggressive players win the most pots.
That is why I have a specific tipping strategy.
I'm running over the table.
Nathan "BlackRain79" Williams@BlackRainPoker
The best players don’t win the most pots They lose the least when they’re behind And get paid the most when they’re ahead
English

@DanDaBrTndr13 At some point you will have to interact with a woman.
She will try to test you.
English

@GodMode248 Poker is best played single. Unless your girl into gambling too.
English

@GodMode248 Nice. I'm even cheaper. As a full-time player you can end up tipping out over 5 figures by the end of the year.
English

@HighVibes12 Tight players are having a hard time winning in this era.
English

@GodMode248 I don’t think blackrain even agrees w his own takes half the time. He’s going for a niche market of reductive nits looking for short cuts (and beginners), but it’s better than being way too wide I guess, at least at 100bb and <.
English

@CodyBollinger Winning ....don't matter if you win or lose in poker.
English

@GodMode248 My girl has sent my tourney/cash game buy ins randomly after rough days 😂👌🏾
English

@paidchex Preflop $0
Flop $1
Turn/River $2
If I'm all in or stack someone $4
If it's a huge pot over $1500 $8
English

@MattBlagg @HRPokerJT Any time there is a big card and two medium cards.
Boards like A98 or K87, K76 we have to bet all our nutted hands.
Say the board is AK5 and we have Aces or AK, those hands I check as a standard play.
English

@HRPokerJT Running it now I’m surprised we basically pure cbet this board. But it’s not always a slam dunk cbet just because it’s a K high board. We check globally 34% of the time. I’d check my weakest Kx KK and immediate under pairs with this strat. But like I said I guess that’s wrong.
