the mistake i made was trusting @Bellickkruz enough to judge fairly & announce the deserved winners. what gave me confidence was his previous track record of hosting thread contests. even though i’ve only won one before (and that was a long time ago), i still expected a fair judgment. what made me less confident was when he went ahead & picked a random dude as a judge. we didn’t even know if he’d be biased or not. then, after a while, the same guy came out saying his mutuals are solid writers & that he wasn’t being biased.. that’s when it all ended for me haha. i just knew something negative happened behind the scenes. it hurt bcos i genuinely went the extra mile for this particular contest. i spent 48–72 hours creating the intro video (even burnt credits), then another 48 hours researching & writing the thread. i didn’t only explore the new whitepaper or website. i even went through the discord, digging through conversations & doing a full top to bottom analysis. but oh well. my submission got sidelined.. not even an honorable mention lol. @Web3Enchantress’s submission was also top-notch (it was obvious), and it got sidelined too. if everything was fair & the winners really deserved it, we wouldn’t even complain or make a public post. and ngl, this is probably the last time i’ll ever go all in for a contest hosted by some +234 nigga. they need do better!!!
