Calamity: Godseeker's Pathos Godseeker's Pathos will be a fan comic project that will feature many characters and settings from the popular Terraria Calamity mod. It will take many liberties with characters and lore, being more akin to an Alternate Universe. #Calamitymod

@FrenkerD893 I guess being the right hand of the world's emperor would make you have to learn some manners, especially wen not all things are solved by blowing stuff up, as in truth many kingdoms give in and make deals with the empire instead of fighting back

@GodseekerKnight Both actually but more physically with how more ladylike your design is. Dare i say she got regal vibes with the way she dress like she learned manner and etiquette on yharim's side

@FrenkerD893 also ye she is a bit older, magic shenanigans but she stopped physically aging around her early thirties. Calamitas being physically larger than canon also makes her look older, but thats just an impression

@FrenkerD893 The time she spends with him is much longer, but she will eventually leave him, and not silently

@GlobalWyrm Gonna be a long time since this is a side gig, but it's calamity related, long developing times are part of the soul

@GodseekerKnight Very fun spin on the character, can’t wait to see the finished result

@GlobalWyrm Ye, Yharim doesnt need to manipulate her much atall anymore, at most just hide little past details from her. She is so deep in, that even if faced with evidence of her wrong she doesnt budge, she thinks she cant do wrong, cuz if this is wrong, all else she did might also be.

@GodseekerKnight Yeah I get what you’re saying, due to her experiences she’s “over the edge” in a sense and now Yharmy Staple

@GlobalWyrm Yes, I am aware, but what I mean is that she is far more antagonistic on her own right, instead of just ravaging things Yharim points her towards. She will continue to be on Team Yhar even after Perma is gone, wich is why she is this way

@GodseekerKnight I mean yeah it’s pretty implied that during her teenage years she was very aggressive, burning the sea with seemingly no remorse, pointing all of her anger towards the gods. If she didn’t get the push from Permafrost to do otherwise she’d continue down that path of aggression

@RazoldonVevo Of course I am still figuring stuff out, but she is meant to be more in control. As in, she is much less of a victim, she was manipulated, but only so much you can blame on that. She figured out Yharim was full of BS way earlier, but her ego kept making up excuses to stay

@GodseekerKnight I like how evil and fucked up this Calamitas is, it's like a darker variant that never broke away from Yharims influence and went further insane from her own magic

@GlobalWyrm Being blunt, she is more much agressive on the opposition than in canon, with a big ego that cannot accept that all these years she has been fighting for the baddies. Yharim is an amazing manipulator of course, but I will double down on how many of these things were up to her.

@GodseekerKnight That sounds very fun!!!! Calamitas is one of my fav characters ever and that’s a rlly cool twist on her that’s awesome

@GlobalWyrm That is exactly the catch, Calamitas will have much more of an ego and hard time to separate here. Her relation to Yharim will also be much less as a minion, and more of a close associate, having much more agency. She will join close to the middle of the crusade.

@GodseekerKnight Neat! Calamitas normally doesn’t join till the very end and it’d be much harder for her to leave like she did in canon during a more prosperous period of the crusade as Permafrost would be more on Yharim’s side one would assume. That and propaganda being at an all time high.

@GlobalWyrm She will work with yharim since she was 8, so that aspect will still apply, this design in specific is Crusade Golden Age

@FrenkerD893 I'll tell you my thoughts behind it, as I was actually going to have her be far more wild in all my earlier designs. This is Calamitas at her prime, height of the crusade, at this point in the comic she will be confident in her role, high and mighty, so she is well kept

@GodseekerKnight It's not torn/ragged enough, on the robe's edges at least

@FrenkerD893 True, she makes sure to keep it quite clean and formal by Empire dress code

@CalamityTerra It's a golden ring on her horn. The ones where it's white is not intentional, I simply forgot to color them, the default color is gold/yellow.

@GodseekerKnight what's the little stripe on the horn about, and why is it sometimes gold rather than white
