We’ve been noticing a lot of brands lately getting traction from places like Reddit, Quora, and smaller niche communities where people are already talking about the exact problems these products solve. Honestly I think both channels reinforce each other really well. Search captures intent once people already know what they’re looking for, while communities/discussions are often where the awareness and recommendations start forming in the first place. That’s actually why Reddit/community-driven visibility has been working well lately for a lot of SaaS products, especially when the discussions are positioned naturally instead of feeling promotional. A lot of founders understand the value conceptually, but the execution side is usually where things get difficult.

Honestly that’s probably the right audience to focus on for community-driven growth. Researchers and AI engineers already spend a huge amount of time inside discussion-heavy environments comparing papers, workflows, tooling, and implementation approaches, so when a product gets positioned naturally in those conversations, the visibility compounds really well over time. The tricky part is that those communities are extremely sensitive to anything that feels like forced promotion, which is why most founders struggle there early on. That’s actually the side I help with mostly, creating discussion-style threads and positioning products in a way that feels native to how those communities already communicate.

@GodsonicAgency @mscode07 Honestly, yes! As we are targeting researchers they are mostly found in discussion platforms and mostly organic engagement but we're constantly trying to work there. We have no prior experience with marketing this way so just trying things out!
