22nd June, 2023, I graduated from Lagos State University. So many backstories. I fasted for 3 days asking God to tell me what to do after school. I was so angry because all God said to me after the fast was, Ruth, I love you and I’m with you every step of the way. I cried and said, yes I know, but can you tell me what to do? There’s no one to help me. I have no connection with uncles or aunties. But He didn’t say anything. I was lowkey praying for a strike, something that would give me more time, but it didn’t happen. I went back home after school. I would wake up every midnight to cry. I hate being confused. Then boom. I was having a conversation with a friend and asked him what I could do. He listed so many skills and out of everything, social media management stood out. The rest, they say, is history. Today, I’ve worked with several clients from Alberta, Canada, Calgary, Sacramento, the UK, the US, etc. I’ve trailed several social media managers too. Today is Thursday, and I’m really here reflecting on how God has been so good to me. God didn’t give me a clear picture of what to do, but He promised to be with me. And trust me, He kept His word, and He still is. I know God still has so much to do for me, with me, and I’m in for all of it. I’m here to say to someone, trust God. Share this with someone you want to encourage.
