december 2023. langley air force base. for 17 straight nights, unidentified drones swarmed over one of the most sensitive military installations in the united states. senior commanders climbed onto rooftops with night vision goggles to watch. NASA deployed a WB-57F high-altitude research aircraft. the pentagon still doesn't know who was behind it. the scariest part? every drone in america is already required to broadcast its identity. since march 2024, it's federal law. every single one of them is broadcasting its identity, location, altitude, speed. all live. and nobody is picking it up. there's no infrastructure to receive any of it. 🧵
