@EdKrassen Yes. We may be the only country that provides citizenship to anyone simply born here. The law creates a market for those in other countries to birth here in the US so as to grant their child US Citizenship. Seems like an unnecessary incentive. A black market incentive.

Both Trump and DeSantis are now campaigning on ending birthright citizenship. For all of you who believe in the Constitution, are you OK with this? According to the 14th Amendment: All persons born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the State wherein they reside. Are you OK with these claims which seemingly would be impossible to actually get down without changing the Constitution? Are you OK with making changes to the Constitution like DeSantis and Trump would apparently have to do to uphold their campaign promises?
