@GoinTyHard Schools teach kinds all kinds of things - some more useful than others. But they still fail at teaching them basic life skills like real personal finance, or basic life skills like how to change a tire. In an age of unlimited information, we’re setting kids up for failure.

Crazy that we live in a world where you can get instantly approved for a student loan for over 100k+ at the age of 18 with an interest rate of over 10% and just be instantly in debt for 30+ years without any sort of knowledge of how it all works. Best thing I ever did was refinance my loans almost 8 years ago. Went from paying over $700 a month with a 14% APR to now $140 at 2%.
