I usually hate making rocks because I never know how to make them look right. I think I'm starting to like it a bit. Later I might smooth it with a morph target, although I kind of like it like this. What do you think?🪨🪨

@elJosby También he visto a tipos lanzar un par de bochazos con el ratón con el damstandar o con el orb crack y hacer la jodida piedra de excalibur, otros tiran de máscaras, otro hacen burradas con los alphas, créeme puedes perder la cabeza muy facil

@elJosby Tienes un estilo muy desarrollado para las betas de la madera, como primer punto de partida genial. Las referencias de "Wayfinder" en pinterest van bien para pillar las formas, pero a veces un ladrillo no da para más, casi acabo loco intentando hacer grietas que se vean naturales

In a normal production, 3D artists usually have a few weeks to create props. In my case, I’m handling everything on my own, so I try to reuse similar pieces with small changes. It’s not finished yet, but I think it’s looking pretty cool! 🤪🤪

More experiments with sharp shadows! super easy to just generate sharp shadows for any mesh and get rid of these gaps or artifacts in my shadows that I often get #madewithunity

@alexanderameye Okay, I'm just going to ask you one thing, so each element rendered in the scenes has its own shadow associated with it? That is, this individual shadow is projected on the other objects, is that why you get such a sharp effect?

The bevel modifier in Blender 4.3 will let you use any attribute as a weight, so you can finally have multiple custom non-destructive bevels on a mesh! The UI for attributes is clunky, but it's there.

phase 1 of getting my modeling tool standalone ready is complete! unity-editor-specific stuff has been separated into its own assembly, and the code compiles! 🎉 also, now that it's no longer using editor singletons, I wonder if I can keep it a single-GameObject app lol

Okay, got the Wing Leader Hornet cockpit lit properly with all the damage and broken bits properly responding to the light angle. Now here's the question - should I do this for the rest of the cockpits? Is this worth it? I like it, I just dunno if it's that cool. :/
