Tomorrow, to honor the lives that were lost at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School one year ago, I have ordered flags to be flown at half-staff throughout the state. I also ask all Floridians to pause for a moment of silence at 3:00 p.m. in remembrance of the victims.

Today I lost an important person in my life. My uncle was murdered doing what he loved, praying to G-D. I don’t want to live in a world where I must fear to live as a Jew. I thank everyone in BBYO for being so supportive and I hope this never happens again! #PittsburghStrong
