Ever since prop firms stopped allowing weekend holds, my payouts have hovered around $10k biweekly… sometimes just a little above it. It completely changed the way I could position trades. A lot of my higher conviction swing setups had to be closed early or skipped entirely. Thankfully, FundedNext just announced that weekend holding is back. Hopefully, FTMO follows suit soon. The rest of this month should be significantly better. 😂 We’d do so much more!

There was a moment in medical school where I almost shut it all down. The trading, the entrepreneurship, everything. Not because I was failing, but because I was exhausted. Balancing the demands of medical school with building something from scratch is not romanticized hard work. It is 2am decisions, missed social events, and constantly feeling like you’re not doing enough in either world. But I stayed. Today, GLEAMS MAGAZINE named me a shape of ambition and the version of me that almost quit needed to see this. This is for every medical student out there. Every student juggling school, ambition, and the quiet fear that you have to pick one. You don’t. I am a medical student, a trader, and an entrepreneur and none of those things cancel each other out. They sharpen each other. You can be a doctor who innovates. A doctor who creates opportunities. A doctor who creates solutions A doctor who understands not just illness, but impact. Entrepreneurship doesn’t take away from medicine, it sure does makes it better. What kept me going was the belief that my story could one day give someone else permission to keep going too. If that someone is you, don’t quit because ambition doesn’t have to fit in one box. From passing challenges to multiple payouts.🔥 This is what discipline looks like! This morning while looking at my certificates, a few things hit me. Sharing for anyone on the same journey: 1. You don’t need 100% wins to succeed. 2. Some accounts took longer than expected to pass and withdraw. Stay patient.. keep risk fixed and trade one setup at a time with discipline. 3. When the wins start rolling in, don’t post everything. Keep some for yourself. 4. None of this would’ve happened without strong technical analysis and consistent daily practice. Focus on showing up every day, not rushing results. Lastly, there’ll be times when it feels like it’s not working and you’ll want to force things. Don’t break your rules. Went house hunting yesterday at a dream residential area in Abuja where I’d genuinely love to permanently reside someday. And I kept asking myself how people are able to afford 1 billion naira homes. Funny enough, I used to think the exact same way about owning a 100M+ car… until it happened to me. Life has a way of making today’s impossibilities look normal tomorrow.
