The concept of Mel becoming jaded after leaving Piltover and arriving in Noxus is such an obscure one, when even while she was estranged from Ambessa, her own mother, she never stopped loving her after it all.

Just because Jayce and Viktor’s relationship was not written out to be how you wanted it to, doesn’t lessen the impact they had in each other’s stories nonetheless. Viktor played a huge role in Jayce’s arc, just as much as Mel did in his and vice versa. Not everything has to be romantic, and your refusal to acknowledge and accept that, stops you from understanding the whole picture.

That crowd sees Riot putting Jayce and Viktor together in any frame, complains it is queer-baiting, yet in the same breath claims that any slight reference to Mel in any content revolving around Jayce is erasure. How are we to believe your claims of enjoying Jayce’s character when you dismiss his relationship with another when they play a substantial role in his arc, just because they don’t serve to your narrative?
