Who’s the BEST defensive third baseman you’ve ever seen? Forget the bat. I’m talking pure glove.

@GoldenAgeNBA SO true! And the reason was, like Ulf Samuelsson and a few others in sports, Laimbeer deliberately tried to injure opponents - then didn't have the guts to back it up. Ricky Mahorn took care of THAT.

I don’t care how good Tyler Kolek looks in the regular season… Jose Alvarado in the playoffs will pay off. He’s the much more experienced player, and that defensive intensity of his is exactly what you need when you’ve gotta get a stop.

I am most confident in the floor of the roster to never get upset in a series. I am most concerned about the group’s inability to perform as a cohesive unit. It’s usually 2-3 guys of the 5 get it going and the others dissociate. The Celtics series was the only time I felt the group played to its potential.

@EddieTrunk I saw Nile Rodgers and Chic, One of my favorite Bands at a Music Festival a few years ago; he started to talk about all the Acts he’s produced like Madonna and Daft Punk, then playing their songs. I felt the same way, great stuff but I came to hear Chic.

I will never understand why artists with huge deep catalogs do cover songs live. I get it’s cool / different for them. But if I’m going to see an act with a deep big catalog I love I want to hear their songs. Unless they had a hit with that cover. Then I get it. IMO

Awesome performance of Purple Rain by @springsteen and #Estreetband last night in Minneapolis at @TargetCenterMN . Absolutely stellar guitar work by Nils and Tom Morello. Stunning. Video by SeanEsq on YouTube #springsteen

@LexxMoves A lot of people in any Artistic endeavor think about commerce over Art. Quentin, like Ryan Coogler seem to love new and fresh ideas, and think outside the Box. Spike gets a pass because he gave a generation of Black Actors, Directors, Cinematographers and Crew Opportunity.

Something that I think is a deep embarrassment to the 90s class of black filmmakers is that the only person that believed in pam grier in the later half of her career was quentin tarantino.
cinesthetic.@TheCinesthetic

"Jackie Brown is a film so cool & so breezy about middle aged people that feel the clock ticking. It reduces me to tears. I consider Tarantino a peer, but it is a watermark for how to shoot & film a scene with delicacy & compassion." -Paul Thomas Anderson

Bobby Brown really got one of the best R&B albums of all time. Listening to it makes me realize that millennials and Gen X has done a horrible job of passing down culture to the younger generation. Specifically music.

@JCMacriNBA Offensive Synergy? Then how did they beat Detroit and Boston last year, luck? I guess 2 full seasons and 3 playoff series haven’t been enough reps for them.

Have said it many, many times: The cardinal sin of the Brunson/KAT pairing isn’t that they can’t sufficiently defend together; it’s that they’ve never had the offensive synergy to make the defensive shortcomings worth it. Not even close.

I have loved that the Chief, Robert Parish has given his perspective on Larry Bird’s place in the Pantheon, and his love for Bill Walton as well. I rooted hard against them but they just kicked ass and took names.

Kareem is my GOAT. Its sad that the League doesn’t celebrate him the way they did Mr. Russell, who deserved every accolade. I wish we could hear a Semi-Annual convo of his perspective on the NBA,Yesterday and Today; who/what he likes, doesn’t like, etc.

Knick fans turning on Jalen Brunson is so typical and pathetic. They desperately needed quality Backcourt help this summer but they capped out Bridges. So he has to carry the load for 4 seasons and yet another playoffs. Isiah Thomas does not win 2 Titles w/o Joe Dumars.
