Chat. I have a slight pain in my side. Pray it’s because I slept weird because if it gets worse I have to go back to the hospital and I will cry

Wish the sepsis would have set in and taken me because it would have been cheaper and they probably would have taken this fucking thing out already

Discharged. I might have surgery in two week I might have surgery up to six weeks later. All I have is a drain and a dream I guess? And the fuck ass PA trying to tell me blood tests can’t show inflammation (they can) so yeah all that and I still have a ruptured appendix

Because what do you mean you might want to keep my ruptured appendix in for potentially 6 weeks

Let me tell ya. That drain being put in was single handedly the most uncomfortable experience of my life. I can’t quite literally feel it inside of me and they had to give me Zofran when I got back from it because it was wigging me out that bad at first

Tell me why they have me not being able to eat or drink for the drain the want to put in me and this man just told me they don’t even have a set time for when it will be done today 😭

They’re putting a drain in my abdomen tomorrow morning sometime. Nurse will come back with specifics later though

Guys they stuck me back on the antibiotics. Also my IV no longer wanted to do its job and kept leaking so now they’re trying to stick me again and my veins are being difficult

BUT I’m in significantly less than and I’ve only really been having Tylenol.

Update still in the hospital. Just did the CT with contrast and there’s still a lot of fluid. The area still hurts a little bit and is very tender when touched or pressed on but they have me off the antibiotics for now. Waiting on the surgeon coming to speak about what’s next.

Should be getting a CT scan with contrast sometime today and hopefully if all looks well the might have a day for the surgery

Can I just say my nurses and patient care techs have been so wonderful and caring. They got me these little leg massage things to help pass the time give me something fun to do. About to get my first bit of food (just jello) in two days and I’m on clear liquids now too

@zaitohro My appendix almost killed me and I was borderline septic. That area is so inflammmed they can’t do surgery yet so I’m in the hospital for the next few days 😃👍

My appendix decided it no longer wanted to functioning. The surgeon wants to keep me for a couple days before surgery is actually done due to the amount of inflammation the fucker has caused.
