After finishing all the translated Visual Novels by studio AUGUST (Yoake Mae, Fortune Arterial, Aiyoku no Eustia, Daitoshokan, Sen no Hatou), I made a tier list with all their characters. Overall excellent casts #AUGUST #Yoakena #FORTUNE_ARTERIAL #Eustia #Daitoshokan #Senmomo

@moon11084 Depends In moeges or nukiges, I don't care for a voiced protag. But in story-focused VNs, like Utawa, Umineko, Eustia or Senmomo, having a voice on the protag is really nice to immerse. Shoutout to 11eyes where the MC has sprite+voice, but only in other-PoV scenes

Curious, how do you like your protag?

@theaugusthail I really liked Suzu and her energy. Also, Sankaku Renai had these scenes within the two love triangles for each heroine, where "the losing heroine of the triangle realizes they've lost and now they're sad". Suzu's version of that scene made me the most emotional

Suzu from Sankaku Renai never stopped loving her big brother...even after their parents divorced. She IS the ideal caring little sister character - Gentle - Docile - Affectionate - Adorably cute

@JoeyTM1313 @AtemiyaShinobu From the Yuzu titles I've read so far, I agree with this. While there's each time been 1 route that stood out to me, most of them are in the "it's alright" range

@AtemiyaShinobu idk how far youve gotten but yuzu tends to have: - good common routes because yuzu is good at SOL comedy - bad heroine routes because yuzu either messes up giving heroines depth after romance or whatever drama happens in the route havent read LLLJ though so maybe it's just good

Is Yuzusoft not actually Moe slop? i started reading Lime light lemonade jam as a palette cleanser slop because Saihate destroyed my kino receptors but its actually been throughly enjoyable so far

@NewDivineBlade It makes sense, AoKana being as popular as it is. More people are exposed to Rika as a result, thus it's more likely people will be drawn to her & realize her comparative unpopularity Even excluding that, I find Rika to be fun, sweet, with a good arc & solid chemistry with the MC

Who's a really underrated VN heroine in your guys opinion? I really like Kotori from Rewrite, she's top 5 Key heroines imo.

@doshep_hegex @pompmaker1 Yes, most of the fights in Touhou are canonically regulated by rules to stop the chars from damaging Gensokyo. But if you look both at the first 5 games (before the rules came into effect) and some of the written works, you'll quickly see many of the chars are mindboggingly OP
