Negotiations also taking place for a new centre midfielder playing in Europe but of South American origin, but the player has multiple options on the table. @stevebird1877 That’s what annoys me, Toti wnd Mosquera needed shifting on and now Toti is captain it just does my head in, the worst centre back pairing for last season by a mile and no recruitment to replace them and still no new GK.

How come suddenly a bunch of center backs that where dreadful last season are suddenly going to take us back to the PL this season? Fosun are to blame yeah, but Cesar has given the captains armband to Toti in two practise games now so that needs questioning too. #WWFC

I do feel with the others coming back we’ll probably be alright this season but our GK and them two defenders are not good enough Toti and Mosquera are the new Coady and Saiss. Need better

And yes they may all not stay (and that’s poss a good thing in terms of generating income to freshen up the squad) but their not blessed with suitors so every chance they stay

@molineuxmusings Overall not too bad especially as it was against a top 10 La Liga team, Raul, Wolfe back will definitely improve us, JRB mixed feelings but maybe will help. Krejci I think will leave, I just feel we need a new GK and CM and another winger. I just don’t trust Fosun to do that

@NethertonWolves @molineuxmusings That’s the problem, a few additions is needed, I don’t think Fosun will bring in extra additions with 3 weeks remaining. They seem happy with what they have and shut up shop a few weeks ago without telling us. Hope I’m wrong

@Wolves Have a squad ready for pre season they said, only 2 new players feature so far, 8m spent overall so far, season starts in around 3 or so weeks, still lacking serious investment, promises already broken. And still they charge us to watch last seasons squad in a nothing match
