For your sake, don’t mistake my softness for naivety. It takes discipline to remain gentle in a world that often rewards hardness. It's not by accident - who I am is who I choose to be.

@NtsakisiBG @AfricaFactsZone You do realise how puny 72m dollars is right?. Also, the "bad individuals" you attract reflects the "already existing" market in your country. 1.Some drug dealers= South Africa. 2.Some fraudsters & prostitutes=Ghana The two main countries that seem to have a problem with us.

@blockofbuilder @frankonX_ I think the exodus is the other way around. Folks out of here, adding to the admixtures & skills over there. mesopotamia & the indus is geographically suited for easy admixtures & thats why civilisation "as we know it" started from there. Different dna, skills, cultures fusing to 1

@frankonX_ There is a lot we do not know about who we are and how we got to where we call Yorubaland today. The answer may be locked in DNA analysis when we are ready.

@doziecuit @oyeolsakin11538 @BusInsiderSSA Look at all the ones government has funded. They end up selling for cheaps as scarp. It's best left to private sector, it's a capital intensive, fine margin business that needs discipline that is still rear in Nigerian finance but we are getting there. Also not about knowledge.

I understand the lack of knowledge, funds and expertise that are required in thriving in industries of this nature, but I feel that projects like this should government funded, full government participation or PPP at least. Letting these people mine roaw materials when in fact so many African countries are getting out of such deals mirrors colonialism. We have to be more intentional about our future and our development.

I'm not saying aid is absolutely useless,I just mean it's nothing in the grand scheme of things. What we need is good affordable & voluminous capital, to catch up, on meaningful, very robust projects/infrastructure. Also, ending exploitative pricing on our resources.

The money is so insignificant that we are mostly better off without them, however, the few aid workers, NGOs and corrpt officials over here wouldn't let go.They find a few lies on impacts & film more poverty to sell to patrons while living in villas with land cruises out here.

People complain bout under-development without realising the world system is rigged against us, catching up after eroded years of exploration/colonialism. infrastructure=lots of capital. The loans required are too expensive,The volumes approved wuldn't do much but get stolen.
Lethukuthula Khozah@LethueK

The cost of money in Africa is the hidden tax on growth. While G7 countries borrow at 0.75%–3.75%, Africa’s median sits around 6.75% and in some cases like Zimbabwe (35%) and Sudan (28%+), it becomes nearly impossible to build or scale a business. High interest rates don’t just slow startups they choke innovation, limit investment, and delay development. Capital is expensive where it’s needed the most.

I said no one can lead without grace/luck. Sometimes it’s not fully about you but about your team. They underrated tinubu then also. Look at seyi makinde administration. He have the youngest team and if luck/grace find him and he play 2027 game well. He will be the backbone in oyo state like tinubu. Invest in other states in 2031 and support the presidency. By 2039 he can run for presidency also. Politics is tactics and game. Right now seyi makinde have no enemy aside from wike. Till tomorrow he still remains tinubu associate. Right now he is not at any losing end. In as much his candidate win 2027. By 2031, everybody go know who be who. APC will fall and everybody will realign.

Could Fashola be the successor to Asiwaju’s political legacy once the Tinubu era draws to a close? I have always recognized the vital importance of a leader capable of safeguarding our geopolitical interests within Nigeria’s complex, multiethnic, and pluralistic landscape. In my view, Fashola stands out as a formidable figure prepared to take the mantle when the time comes for a transition in SW leadership.

We have alot of things to push back on. The people were playing liberalism with have a 20 year master plan or so to colonize Yoruba land. Sahara reporters once drop a document that talks about how they plan to achieve this and they been on this for about a decade. We woke up late but it's not too late.

Time to "dead" this tired talk about Yoruba women and bleaching. It’s simply false. The few YW who dabble into it stand out for being bad at it(Obviously incompetent). Unlike others raised on lightening products from childhood, they are so great at it,with almost no giveaway.

I'm from Ondo and I enjoy eating amala with vegetable soup than with ewedu or gbegiri. Ondo and ekiti people no really fancy gbegiri like that coz we get our own vegetables. If you eat amala with worowo, legede or amunututu, you'll likely forget gbegiri. Yoruba is rich and diverse.
Muna@Munalozy

The first day I ate amala, I just knew it could never go well with any soup apart from ewedu, okra, and ogbono, because the texture blends smoothly and makes it easy to swallow. I think any soup that isn’t slimy isn’t for amala.

@Munalozy Growing up, i absolutely hated amala cause I was given with other soups... The first day I tried it with gbegiri, ewedu and stew, I couldn't believe my taste buds... from that point, there was no turning back for me. Today, I can only eat amala with the full complement.

@Rileystill02 It is possible but not proper.... not completely horrible but not a great combo. Amala, ewedu, gbegiri and stew with assorted soft meat(not even fish) is the complete meal. Any other combination takes away from the taste and experience. lowkey ruins it and doesn't do justice.
