@TheCartelDel @Z00M_io @VolSkimmer what's the missing context? The VGC article quotes the entire section from the original interview verbatim, where Harada clearly states his interest in PPV models. The VGC article reflects this accurately without implying wanting to transition to PPV

@Bboy_Izilla @scully1888 what is there to correct? The VGC article that Harada takes issue with quotes the original interview verbatim, and doesn't state that Harada plans on transitioning to a PPV model. Simply says that he is interested in what Capcom is doing

Well hopefully @scully1888 corrects their article.
Katsuhiro Harada@Harada_TEKKEN

The interview that this article is based on is probably the one at this link, right? thegamebusiness.com/p/tekkens-kats… I never said a single word about wanting to turn it into paid content (I only said, “I wonder or interest how that could be achieved?”). In the first place, I am not even positive about monetization. The context and interpretation may have been created by the article, but judging from the flow of the conversation, you would have to interpret it extremely negatively to think that I was trying to make streaming paid. In any case, it is unlikely that it will be monetized, and in fact, the operation of streaming and TWT has never fallen within the scope of our business since the very beginning (because prize money is involved, these activities have been excluded from the scope of our Japanese corporate entity).
