Hugo's animations in both SF3 and 4 give the impression that he's just throwing himself at you, trying to crush any opposition with overwhelming force, while gief's animations are comparatively a lot more restrained

There's an interesting contrast between Zangief and Hugo that I think could be explored further if we got both of them in a game again. Zangief obviously does leverage his size and strength, but there's a technicality and skill to his style, while Hugo is raw size and talent
