@pin3cones i remember talking about this with Abdod and nerfing anything about the death damage isnt a good idea bec balloon is only viable against cycle due to that bomb. I do want a hitspeed nerf to balloon to make it less punishing behind lava hound though. and herf the hero obviously

@realgoofyahh if you think objectively cycle is much better and beatdown is near unplayable. I %90 play cycle decks so this isnt me being a goofer and wanting beatdown to be broken.

@CloneLovesMusky ik its not happening but i would like to see them doubling every elixir to basically add decimal elixir costs, max elixir would be 20 generates x2 etc. for example converted musk would cost 8 but you can make her 7 to simulate 3.5 why not just add decimals? cuz its ugly 🗿

after reading ~500 tweets, 100 reddit posts, tons of YouTube comments, watching some TV Royale matches, i have an idea to balance clash royale
every card should cost 1 elixir more, except mirror obviously
why?
everyone asking nerf for every card, loon players ask for gy nerf, giant players ask for bow nerf, golem players asks the same thing for pekka And the list goes on and on, everyone hates everything.
I’ll add my own take on this: most players are right to hate it—the game feels a bit too fast-paced. Some pushes can be made without a second thought, but what if the cards in that push cost one more Elixir? At the very least, that would force players to include one fewer card in that push. For example, it would force players to think a bit more carefully when playing these heavy decks.
This +1 Elixir idea is actually a great way to nerf cheap decks too. It’s obvious how most cheap decks are played: make 1-2 attacks and then spell cycle for the rest of the match. Plus, when the Elixir cost to cast a spell is a laughably low 3-4, it makes spell cycling much easier. This +1 Elixir would make players think twice even when using Skeletons.
Personally, I think this is the only way to maintain balance in the game, because there are over 100 cards and card variants that need balancing in their current forms—I’m not kidding. If we waited to balance them all individually, it would take years to address every single one. At the very least, giving a +1 to all cards could be a solution that satisfies everyone.

@Abdod_The_Dude @Goldy6931 What interaction will speed nerf change? Ice spirit will still freeze prince. It's a better option IMO, usually spirits don't run at all, becauee they are almost instant
