Abertay Golf Foodbank Appeal We are very happy to announce our foodbank appeal for this year! We are setting up food donation boxes on Monday 21st November where anyone from the university can donate. You can make a cash donation from the link in our bio.

💙💛 Freshers Fayre 22/23 💛💙 Abertay Golf will be at the Freshers Fayre which is being held on the 21st of September 2pm till 5pm. ⛳️ The golf team will be in the Old College Building in Room 1001 where you can chat to our committee members, and sign up to the team.

Our first training session will commence on 12 September 2022 and will be held at the Drumoig Golf Centre at 5pm.⛳️🏌‍♂️🏌‍♀️ Everyone is welcome whether you are part of the team or not. If you would like to join us then please drop a message or an email to 1901251@uad.ac.uk.

Our last committee member to be announced is our president for the 2022/23 season, Jamie. His main role is being leader of the group. This involves taking overall responsibility for decisions made, supporting the committee and planning the teams year. #ttid #monthetay 💙💛

Our next committee member to be announced is our secretary and social secretary for the 2022/23 season, John. His main roles are to keep the committee organised, set up social events in the club and run the social media accounts for the club. #ttid #monthetay 💙💛

Our next committee member to be announced is our Treasurer for the 2022/23 season, Scott. His main role on the committee is to deal with the finances of the committee, this can involve budgeting, financial recording and negotiations with sponsors. #ttid #monthetay 💙💛

Our next committee member to be announced is our Captain and Coach for the 2022/23 season, William. His main roles are planning and coaching training sessions, selecting teams for match day and being a voice for the players on the team. #ttid #monthetay 💙💛

Brendan has been on the committee for 3 years working his way up. He hopes to see big changes in the club this year and is hoping for success on and off the course. Brendan is aiming to match his unbeaten run last year and is hoping to finish with a league title this year!

A new committee member although Cameron is no stranger to this side of the club having been on the committee in 18/19. He has been a key member of the club since joining, offering great antics on and off the course. Cameron has gained many points and we hope that this continues!

A new member to the committee who had a very successful year. Michaela was high up on point scoring last year and has a keen eye for success. Michaela is one of the top players in the club. Last year she certainly made an impact on staking a claim for a comittee role for 20/21.

Jamie came into the team last year and certainly provided more quality and depth to the squad while securing multiple points last season. Another good addition to the team as a well respected member. We look forward to working more closely this season. Good luck Jamie!

Another new member to the committee comes in the form of Adam Jacob. Adam was a stalwart in the team last year after joining which enabled him to gain a larger part in the team for this season. A very handy addition both on and of the course. All the best in your new role Adam!

Along with Jason we have Fraser as joint social secretary this year. This is the first new member of the committee for the year ahead. Fraser has brought some fresh ideas of how we can enhance the clubs social calendar and as a pair we wish them the best of success!
