🗣️ Female Golfer of the Year is Melanie Walker! The junior golfer handled district, region, team & open tournaments. She won a state title after completing 17 holes without a bogey. Walker finished 2nd at the U.S. Girls’ Junior Championship Qualifier. Congrats! #USATODAYHSSA

Melanie finishes her round with a bogey, par, and birdie to finish two under par 68. Well done Melanie!! Go Rams!!

Melanie pars 13, 14, and 15 to stay two under for the round. Go Rams!!

Melanie comes up short@of the green on 10 and bogeys the hole. She then pars 11. She drives the green on the par 4 12th hole. Two putts to birdie to get back to two under

Melanie knocks her approach shot on nine within a couple of inches for a tap in birdie. She finishes two under 32 for the front nine. Go Mel!!

Melanie pars the fourth hole. Bogeys the fifth hole. But gets it right back on six with a birdie to stay one under par through six holes.

Melanie W starts off with two pars. She then sinks a long putt on the par three third hole to go one under after three.

We are in Harrisonburg VA for the ladies State Tourney. Melanie W will be teeing off at 11:15am. Go Rams!!

We are off for the second day of Ladies States. Julienne finished yesterday with a 93. Tied for 42nd. Melanie an 81. Tied for 11th. Let’s keep going ladies!! Go Rams!!

Melanie proceeds to birdie 10 and 11 for back to back birdies to get to five over.
