@StevePriestap @TheGhostofhogan Correct....plus you would have brand names per se that could go from the big tour to champions tour without the 5 year sit out...it's a youth movement...45 is old on the big tour...yes there are exceptions but for the most part

I think champions Tour should lower age to 45. For the most part, not every player, once you hit 55 the game goes downhill. Again not all plyrs but in general. So get them out there at age 45. They have no chance on regular tour (again there are examples of 45+ yr olds winning on regular Tour BUT in general they flop around from 45-49 and can’t compete) so let them go play Champs Tour at age 45. What’s the drawback?

When I was 13 there was a little shop in my town called American Golf Classics. They had prototype putters before that was really even a thing. I didn’t have any money, but I fell in love with that one. The owner told me if I wanted it bad enough I could work there for a couple weeks to earn it. So I did. It was a one-of-one prototype and the best putter I’ve ever owned. One day I laid my bag down after 9 holes and went inside for a pimento cheese sandwich. When I came back, the putter was gone. Someone stole it. I spent years trying to find that putter again. This was before the internet really existed so I wrote letters to putter designers all over the country asking if they knew what it was. I even wrote Scotty Cameron. I never found that putter. But searching for it is what got me obsessed with putter design. I taught myself how to design and mill putters. I designed this putter over 20+ years ago. MyGolfSpy ended up becoming my path…but I’ve always loved putters. Funny how one stolen putter can end up shaping the rest of your life.

@Sub70 @truetempergolf @golfpridegrips I can’t praise @Sub70 and @golfsub70 enough for this idea. I called Jason a month about trying to blend in some 659TCs with my i500 long irons. Discussed with him and Dan and they built my 6-AW and they perform. My fitter was amazed how consistent the 659TC 6i was.

The build of the day is a combo set going out to long time PGA Tour player and current Champions Tour player Neal Lancaster! Very interesting combo with the 699 Pro v3 and 659 CB with all irons featuring @truetempergolf Project X shafts and @golfpridegrips grips
