@GollyExpress Please I have a question about this part, when I’ve made payment after receiving the invoice I sometimes wait till the next day before delivery is made to me. My question is are people allowed to call the Customer Support line to make the delivery done on that same day?

7 Arrival in our local warehouse Once shipments are cleared, your packages move into our local warehouse for processing and dispatch preparation. At this stage, we sort, verify, and assign for delivery or pickup based on your selected delivery method. Packages are sorted on arrival because consignments are typically broken down before dispatch from origin. Different categories of goods are usually shipped separately based on handling and cargo requirements. for example, phones together, perfumes together, and clothing together. As a result, customers with multiple packages may receive invoices or updates at different times during the sorting process based on how they were logged. Accurate contact and delivery information help us ensure smooth dispatch and delivery.

THE WAIT. as a last minute person, this is my worst nightmare… a story about the time between ordering and opening THAT package. for me i almost lost this battle but @gollyexpress came through for me.

4 Export Processing Before departing the US, your package, usually consolidated with other shipments into one cargo goes through cargo classification, export documentation, customs review (where required), and preparation for international transit. At this stage, the cargo may also be placed on customs hold for additional checks, documentation review, or inspection before departure. Customs holds are a normal part of international shipping and does not automatically mean there is a problem with the shipment.However, incorrectly declared items, missing documentation, or restricted cargo are more likely to experience delays and sometimes fines.

6 What Happens After Your Shipment Lands Once shipments arrive in Ghana, they go through customs clearance before release for local processing and delivery. At this stage, cargo may undergo documentation verification, duty assessment, and inspection depending on the item type and classification. Clearance usually takes a maximum of 2 working days. However, shipments that arrive later in the week may experience delays since customs clearance does not typically take place over weekends. Timelines can also vary for restricted, high-value, or incorrectly declared shipments.

5 Transit Once export processing is completed and shipments are cleared for departure, cargo is prepared for international transit to Ghana. Our normal transit time is typically within 1 day, and at most 2 days depending on airline scheduling, routing, and cargo type.

3 What Happens When Your Package Arrives at Our US Warehouse? When your package arrives at our warehouse, an arrival notification and a photo verification is sent to your account. At this stage, we may also recommend the most suitable shipping method based on your package weight, dimensions, or item type, always subject to your approval. In some cases, courier tracking numbers may change as packages move between shipping partners before reaching us. When this happens, additional reconciliation may be required before confirmation. This can sometimes delay arrival updates, but rest assured your packages remain safe and secured throughout the process.

2 The Shipping Journey (Origin to Ghana) Your package doesn’t come straight to you. It moves through these stages: Vendor - Our warehouse - Export - Flight/Vessel - Ghana - Customs - Sorting - Delivery Most delays occur at export or customs not in transit. We aim to deliver your package within 7 days from our warehouse to your doorstep. Understanding the journey helps you know what to expect.

1. General Cargo vs Dangerous Cargo. Not all items are handled the same way. General cargo - everyday items like clothes, shoes, and accessories. Processing for these move faster. Dangerous cargo - items like perfumes, chemicals, and electronics with lithium batteries (including phones and laptops). These require special handling and documentation, and may take longer if not properly declared. This is why we require proof of purchase and accurate item descriptions to ensure proper classification and documentation during export. Understanding this helps avoid delays with export processing.
