Two Australians - Andrew Gaze and Penny Taylor - have been named as nominees for the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame in the Class of 2026. They were both nominated last year too; finalists are announced in February.

Jaylin Galloway and Angus Glover are the two guys from this group who I could see realistically slotting into a major tournament Boomers team. The ball-carrying minutes are taken with Giddey/Daniels/Proctor, so the ancillary shooting/3-&-D skillset of Glover/Galloway is what plugs and plays best into the current group.

The Australian Boomers defeat the New Zealand Tall Blacks 84-79 in Hobart, in their first game of the 2027 FIBA World Cup Asian qualifiers. Jaylin Galloway led Australia with 19 points (8/13 FG, 3/8 3PT); FIBA Galloway remains a thing. Angus Glover had 17 points (4/12 3PT). These teams face off in another WC Asian Qualifier on Monday in Wellington, NZ.

Sadly for Uz I can’t see him getting back in the team. Head simply must stay at the top of the order after that historic piece of magic, with Green at 5, and Webster at 6 given his performances in that position during 2025. #Ashes #Ashes2025 cricket.com.au/news/4407517

@AshNicoleMoss Maybe you shouldn’t call other media people embarrassing if you care about mental health so much

during our convo about mental health on #106AndSports, i wanted to make sure i was utilizing my platform to be transparent about my own struggles — imposter syndrome being one of them. every day isn’t perfect & i never want anyone to look at me thinking otherwise 🫶🏽

Steph on choosing to wear the “Mambacita” Kobe 6’s in warmups: “But just the idea of what he meant, I talk about Kobe a lot. And that specific pair, I think it speaks for itself what it means. Other than that, it's just something I wanted to take advantage of that moment and pay tribute. And I think it gave me some good energy tonight."

A few months back, I asked Steph how Kobe influenced his approach to mentorship at this stage of his career. He told me that Kobe’s impact on the women’s game continues to shape the way he leads today. And tonight, on his very first night as a sneaker free agent, Steph warmed up in a pair of “Mambacita” Kobe 6s. 🙌
