I travelled to Madhubani, Bihar to report on the brutal killing of Roshan Khatoon and what I found is deeply disturbing. On 25 February 2026, during the month of Ramadan, Roshan Khatoon was tied to a pole and mercilessly beaten by more than 20 people, including men and women, while she was fasting, after she went to the village head’s house to resolve a dispute. Her family says that when she asked for water, she was instead forced to drink a mixture of alcohol and urine, an act they describe as deliberate humiliation because she was a Muslim woman. She succumbed to her injuries on 1 March. What followed raises even more serious questions. Instead of immediately ensuring medical care and justice, police allegedly took Roshan Khatoon and her husband to the Police station while she was critically injured and demanded ₹50,000 for their release. The family says they were eventually released after 5–6 hours after paying ₹4,000. Nineteen people have been named in the FIR. Yet, nearly a month later, only one arrest has been made. Her family alleges that the accused are being shielded due to political backing from BJP and JDU leaders. Meanwhile, even after weeks, the postmortem report has still not been released. Western media has gone blind, deaf & mute on two big stories: 1)A respected Palestinian doctor gang raped to death by Israeli soldiers who went free &were treated as heroes 2)18-month- old baby tortured with cigarette burns & nail being shoved into his leg by Israeli soldiers.

Israel kidnapped a one year old child and, for ten hours, burned the child with cigarettes right in front of the father, and drove nails into the child's feet. Osama Abu Nassar was near the border east of Al-Maghazi when Israeli soldiers opened fire. A quadcopter drone forced him to leave his 18-month-old son Karim on the ground and walk toward the checkpoint, where he was stripped and detained. Soldiers then brought the child. According to witnesses and the medical report, they burned Karim's leg with cigarettes and drove a metal nail into his foot. Karim was released after 10 hours through the Red Cross. His father is still detained. The family is calling on international institutions to intervene for his release so he can continue his psychological treatment, which he was already receiving before any of this happened. The Israeli occupation army tortured the child Jawad Abu Nassar (one year and nine months old) east of the Maghazi refugee camp in central Gaza after arresting him. According to the medical report, he was harmed by having cigarettes extinguished on his leg, being stabbed, and having an iron nail inserted into it, in order to pressure his father into making confessions. This occurred at a time when his father, Osama Abu Nassar, was suffering from psychological trauma after losing his source of livelihood when the horse he worked with died. He had been receiving therapy sessions in recent days. Two days earlier, he went out with his child to buy necessities, but found himself trapped under gunfire due to his home being close to the border east of Maghazi. A quadcopter drone forced him to leave his child on the ground and head toward a checkpoint, where he was stripped of his clothes. After that, soldiers took the child and began torturing him in front of his father, before releasing the child after about 10 hours of detention and torture, handing him over to his family through the Red Cross in the Maghazi market.
