Casual players be like: “wow, the new tank character feels really balanced because I can press 1 ability and freely walk forward with my massive hp pool and overshields creating infinite space for my team with no counterplay!”

@BreadyFPS Please shut the fuck up, the character hasn't been out a week yet and if i recall correctly pros are very wrong many times. On release they thought tank pool was bad. The character is strong but easily countered. If you dont like him, ban him and stop whining.

Ok lemme break it down for yall Pros are not upset that dino is strong. It is ok for heroes to be strong. They are upset at the gameplay loop it promotes. The Dino is fun and accessible but also makes all but like, 2 tanks (groot and emma) virtually unplayable against him and forces a very one-dimensional playstyle for everybody in the lobby. Rivals is no stranger to heroes that are so strong that they are “pick or ban”. We had broken tankpool. We’ve had release emma. We’ve had gambit since his release. We had Elsa and black cat. We all complained about those heroes too, and we still do (especially gambit). Yes, I promise we have played the poke heroes and “just shot him in the head” but I think a lot of people fail to realize that you can pump resources into your teams dinosaur as well to make him basically unkillable in higher elos. The issue is that at its core, the kit is just a tank wolverine that is virtually unkillable and makes the entire lobby play around it otherwise you lose. (Just like gambit, who needs a nerf as well) pls don’t send me death threats I think the dino is a fun whacky character he just needs to be adjusted a little

@kayjii Pros have been wrong many times and they ruin alot of games with their complaints. That guy in particular said tankpool on release was the worst of the 3 deadpools.

Please bear in mind, this isn’t directed at Devil Dinosaur. I’m just talking in general. The 2 pictures were just a good example. I do agree it’s still early and Dino shouldn’t be changed right away. But you guys also need to keep in mind that most pros figure shit out a lot faster than the average person. So certain things have to get tweaked eventually at some point.

Dino is easily the worst-designed hero in Marvel Rivals right now and it’s not even close. Almost zero skill expression, terrible mirror matchups, and barely any real outplay potential.

You’re not gonna have me continue supporting a game where the developers keep showing their true colors, especially when it comes to characters of color.
